What's the lineage of Julio Viotti? Even better if you have a good source to link to.

What do you want to say with this "advice", Benoit?
I asked for the lineage of the instructor who promoted Grant, who is asking for votes. You obviously already know or don't care about lineage for casting your vote. If you feel the need to give this kind of advice to someone who don't already know and who do care about lineage when voting, you might actually benoitfit from reading your own advice.

Here, the person is just happy to show his promotion picture, who for me seems perfectly legit by the fact that even for a Brown belt he got a second degree Black belt to tie it around his waist.
So everything is fine, and the place is right to congrats him and then you came with your question who interest you and maybe only you... why didn't you ask him more privatly on his wall ? Every time you ask this way, it has a bad quonotation for the asking person. With big doubts in the air... this is not what a friendly environnement should be. You have been told by many people are that you are at lease rough when you ask people about their curriculum, so yeah after a while, i think an introspection will be usefull.

The post was "Looking for some validation to match the bruises- help a humble brown belt out".
You don't see the irony of you posting unsolicited personal "advice" which only interest you and not the recipient in this thread, then motivating it by saying someone else should have posted things more privately?
And we should believe you intended no bad "quonotations" yourself by posting it?
This is not what a friendly environment should be.

The fact that people get bored of you, an your behavior should be enough to understand my advice post, finding a way to deal with you or leave the site frustrated don't normaly be a question for someone who joint beltchecker... by the way you interact with new members, you're definitly the last person i will ask to explain me what a friendly environnement should be....you had trouble with other people every week

This thread is about Grant asking for verifications. I asked a short and to the point question, asking about his instructor's lineage, after which could give him my verification too, as well as the verification of others who want to check lineage before verifying.
I don't quite understand how this thread became your arena of ventilating your frustration on how I belt check in general and would believe it is of no interest to Grant.
You should know by now that I have already heard your opinions and if you are adamant that new members being asked about lineage is harmful for the community, you're very welcome to raise the issue with site founder Christian. If he agrees with you, he is in his full power to ban me and anyone else asking a new member for his or her lineage. And if not, you could perhaps stop hijacking threads and let belt checkers belt check.

Professor Julio Viotti is from Belo Horizonte and is a two-stripe black belt. He received his black belt from Fabiano Morais and Fabiano Junior Boi.
Thank you for everyone’s consideration, and the votes 🙌🏼

Not a very easy lineage to trace, as all info was in Portuguese. But I found good evidence of Gordo promoting Juninho Boi to BB in 2007 (https://www.facebook.com/[...]7317534688, with a confirming like from Gordo).
Julio was promoted to BB by Juninho Boi here: https://www.instagram.com[...]9D8/?hl=en
So am I correct in concluding that the lineage through Fabiano should be Carlos Gracie Sr. > Helio Gracie > Carlos Gracie Junior > Roberto "Gordo" Correa > Fabiano Junior "Juninho Boi" Leite de Souza > Júlio Viotti ?
I only need one, but do you also know the lineage through Fabiano Morais? (perhaps the same?)
