Hi, My name is Shawn Afshari, and I received my Black Belt under Ricardo Abreu in Dallas, a 5th-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Lineage:
Mitsuyo Maeda > Carlos Gracie >Carlson Gracie> Andre Pederneiras > Robson Moura > Ricardo Abreu > Shawn Afshari
I am an instructor at several BJJ schools and I've been teaching since I received my Black belt.
I have been training for about 17 years and I received my black belt on April 2024.
