"Well documented profile and promotion history. Congratulations!"
"External sources support Chris Gregory’s black belt under Valmyr Neto: Alchemy Martial Arts’ coach bio states Gregory earned his BJJ black belt under Neto. Neto is a senior (4th–5th degree) Checkmat black belt. External records from Smoothcomp verify he competed as a black belt as early as November 2021 at the English Open, aligning with his December 2021 formal promotion date. His consistent presence at Alchemy Martial Arts on social media with his long-term apprenticeship under Neto further validate his status. The claimed 1st-degree date of 19 Oct 2024 is slightly short of the 3-year IBJJF minimum, but over that time now so OK with me as of this Jan-2026 review. Legit!"
