My name is Dwight, and I’ve dedicated my life to the study and practice of martial arts since 2004. What began as a personal pursuit of discipline and self-improvement has evolved into a lifelong journey of technical mastery, teaching, and combative understanding. I started training in jiu-jitsu in 2009 at 10th Planet Riverside under Sean Bollinger, earning my blue belt the following year. When the school closed, I transitioned to Checkmat in Hesperia, California, where I spent four years developing my fundamentals and sharpening my gi-based techniques. After moving to Hemet, I joined Gracie Humaita and earned my purple belt, later advancing to brown belt under Roger Carpenter at Fight Sports. Alongside my jiu-jitsu journey, I earned my black belt in San Soo in 2013 after five years of relentless daily training and travel. Today, my focus is on a combative martial art system that integrates real-world self-defense applications, emphasizing firearms tactics, edged weapon defense, and close-quarters engagement. My training philosophy blends traditional discipline with modern combatives — a balance of technique, mindset, and adaptability both on and off the mat.
