At this year's FIBO, the leading international fair for fitness and health, the German MMA Championship (GMC) and the Deutsche Grappling Liga (DGL) have announced an exciting collaboration: together they will organize the European Grappling Championships, both in the Gi and No-Gi divisions. This championship, designed exclusively for professionals, will attract Europe's best grapplers to demonstrate their skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and No-Gi Grappling disciplines. FIBO provides the perfect platform for this standout event, which not only showcases technical finesse and strategic depth in grappling but also promotes growth and unity within the combat sports community in Europe.

A special innovation at these European Championships is that both Heel-Hooks and Knee Reaping are allowed in the GI division. This rule change enables the use of a wider spectrum of techniques and promises to make the competitions even more exciting.

Participants can look forward to not only high-level competitions but also great prizes. Additionally, participation in the championship includes a ticket to FIBO, offering access to one of the world's largest fairs in the fitness and health sector.
