That is the question.
Not.

Even though there seem to be knowledgeable people who do chiro, the foundations and practices of the school / parts of that are so shady I inherently wouldn't trust anyone who ties their name and reputation to that.

That is the question.
No.. Stay away. Go to an Osteopath. They are doctors of medicine. At least in the US they are. I used to go to a chiro for my back and neck problems. Ended up having to get back surgery despite my chiro (before I stopped going) always blowing smoke up my ass telling me I would never need the surgery as long as I kept coming for adjustments. It was total bullshit.

Thanks Daniel.. It's fixed but I will never be the same. Way too much nerve damage. . Good news is I am too stupid to stop training. Lol Why should I quit? That would be an ego thing. I truly believe that just like in regular life you go through highs and lows. Physical decline is a fact of life unless you are Randy Couture, I guess. Also, I like think that I serve as a good example for my team as far as taking care of your body with the goal of training for the long term. At least I like to think that.

One of the tricky things about chiropractic care is that they take aspects from other disciplines (that are effective) such as massage therapy and PT and implement it into their practice.

However, there doesn't seem to be much data to support that the actual act of adjusting/"cracking" your spine is an effective treatment.

Yea I already knew about the foundation being bs basically. I am curious about modern adaptations of it from someone who specifically works with athletes. If there is some way to help fix nerve damage and messed up shoulders/neck with some simple movements. Obviously if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

But something like in this video with Frank Mir. https://www.youtube.com/w[...]5yH9Gjwpzw
