As you can see from the screenshot of the website stats, the suspension of BJJ Globetrotters has helped beltchecker in getting more attention. It seems like the move might actually be counterproductive if seen from the point of view of IBJJF. It shows again that there is no such thing as negative press. Lets capitalize and ride this wave.
I've been sharing beltchecker on social media, because I want my friend and trainingpartners to register as well (a nice side effect of the rating system, is that it kinda urges fighters to get their trainingpartners on the website as well).
Keep up the good work all you Trotters and BJJ fanatics out there.

Wim was one of the original beta testers of the site, so it's not strange that his profile has a lot of views :)

I like it. Grow yr own academies with the talent in your instructor level and develop brands that cut out that middle men that want to create bubbles they wish to control. Just go look who is connected to who and when any comps and or intervention/ blocking comes you know how and why.

It definitely has helped. I finally verified my profile picture and uploaded pictures of my belt promotions because I wanted to push this site.
I also started getting my students to come and put themselves in here too just to help push the numbers. (They are all getting beating next week because it’s not done yet /sarcasm)
