Today my students were promoted to blue belt after months and for some of them years of training and dedication. I'm posting this to show how proud I am of them and their journey. The majority of people in this picture are in there late 30s. Please feel free to post your promotional pictures for inspiration for somone who want's to give up or thinks they are to old to do Jiujitsu. It's never to late and your never to old to start somthing new and life changing!! Take care family. Osss!

I started many years ago with many stops and problems. Each time i came back. In february i won my first competition (i'm a hobbyist even if i hate the word) i got i finger injury in the next one in semifinals. I kept showing up to watch training and do some techniques. Then i found a way to train between "my" academy and another one near my workplace
In order to be consistent in spite of bad working hours. I felt good but the blue seemed to never come. I saw many people like me get promoted elsewhere and i was very frustrated
But i kept showing up. And yesterday after the openmat i got promoted!!
I understand people who quit, it's not easy
With family, job, problems..to be patient. But then there is the reward
:) Cheers
