In my quest towards new features for academies, I have today taken a first little step and created a simple schedule module. Administrators on academy pages have access to create and edit classes, which will be displayed on academy profiles. Enjoy! :)

That's pretty awesome. The site is definitely evolving towards something bigger than just verifying people. Photo stream, messenger, academy schedules, etc. Love IT!

Nice! I'll go update mine. But yeah, while we are currently open (like most other clubs in the UK), I would anticipate we're going to have to close at some point in the near future.

Hmm. Just comes up as blank when I go to the admin bit currently. But yeah, not the most important thing to update right now. ;)

Ah sorry, was a spelling error in that button's link. Try now! :) Should also work directly from the academy profile "Edit schedule" button

I've got several classes that start at :45 and :15 rather than :30, and therefore finish off the half hour too. Is it possible to add more time increments, or have manual entry? :)

I was trying to make that dropdown not too long, but ok let's give it a shot with 15-minute intervals! :)

Added today a rudimentary membership/payment tracking function. You can record payments for members of the academy and get a list overview of active payments, soon expiring, etc.

Plan is to keep building on this until we have a full, free membership management module on the site. Schedule and membership payments will now make it possible for me to build attendance logging features.

That's awesome I'm looking for a membership tracking tool at this moment for our team. Now testing with WPGym but this can be an great tool.

Glad you like it, guys! There's not much to do in the Jiu Jitsu travel business at the moment, so I'll keep working on this while on lockdown and maybe it can be my little contribution to the academies that will struggle in the coming times. As with the rest of beltchecker, the gym management part will also be free to use.

If you have any input, requests for features or ideas, please let me know! At the moment, I am working on attendance tracking module.

Do all members need a public profilie to use the management module? I can imagine that there are members who do not want to be on a online community.

They will need a profile but if they prefer, it could even be a completely empty or anonymous one. ID verification, profile picture, etc. is not required to be registered as member of an academy here.

Has anyone been using this?
Is it as awesome as it looks?

I've started looking into membership based websites so people can go through that to pay their subs, means I have a website to but if course they are all subscription based and are relatively expensive considering I have 6 members and 3 of them train for free so I have a premesis.
Does it process payments or just track it once you say the subs have been paid? If so are there time intervals that expire so you know its been a month?
Can people log in as they enter the gym for tracking without me doing it for them?
Lots of questions I suppose but I'd definitely use this if it ticks most of my boxes.

I don't think a lot of people are using this much yet, since nobody are really training :) I'm sure there's gonna be a lot more work to put into it from me, once it's actually being used, but I'm happy to hear from academies who want to help test it!

I'm not sure I understand any of these questions, can you elaborate at bit? :)

-Does it process payments?-
Can people pay through the sight and the information be logged automatically renewing their membership or do they pay into my club account and I manually put in the system that they have paid.

-Are there time intervals that expire?-
Does the system have standard time intervals that automatically expire from the day they're activated eg: 1 week paid then it expires and shows up as unpaid for the next time period moving forward. This way people could start paying at different times and it wouldnt matter because the system automatically expires so you know to invoice them or let them know they're due payment.

-Can people log in as they enter the gym?-
If I had an ipad or something is there a login/ attendance specific home screen, can people just click on their face or something... Or they could have a pin code so others can't log training for them incorrectly.

People would pay for stuff like this I'm sure. Like I said I've been looking into setting up a subscription based website and some of the providers charge a mint.

No payment processing on Beltchecker, it would be very complicated to implement all the different payment processors around the world. The membership/payment module here is only to keep track of memberships, expiration, payments etc.

Yes, that's what the system is built for. Register a payment, set an expiration date, get an overview of who needs to pay soon / expired memberships.

Yes, go to "Manage Academy" and you'll find the "Frontdesk checkin" option with exactly this. You can run it on an ipad and members can log in for classes on it.

I've activated your academy profile so you can experiment with it :)

Beltchecker is happy to provide it for free :) Might not be as advanced or have full time support, but with time, we should be able to build almost any basic functionality that academies need.

Cheers Christian!
I've been working on getting 5 members set up on here, like we messaged about, but the teens are... well, lazy I suppose.
Darn whipper snappers.
