Hi everyone, we've all been pretty down nowadays given the current restrictions on training and travel and the interuption of our daily lives. So, I thought it might be a little interesting to have a thread talking about some of the things that have resuted from the current situation which turned out to be a pleasent surprise. Since it's my topic, I'll get the ball rolling witht myown.
1) Working from home has given me a chance to catch up on some sleep. I normally have to travel to a city far from my home twice a week. Not having the 2 hour trip lets me sleep a bit later.
2) I was really bummed about the Estonia camp being postponed. But, since I wanted to go to a camp this year, I moved my reservation to the summer camp. Turns out, I now get to watch the premier of the Globetrotters Documentary, which was the downside of the Estonia camp for me.
3) My wife has been kind of awesome through the whole thing. When the Estonia camp was cancled, she insisted I find another camp to visit and even moved our vacation plans so I can attend. She also offered to be a training partner for me while the Gyms are closed. I didn't take her up on the offer, but the gester was nice.
4) Honestly, I know it is marketing, but all of the offers for free tutorials has been pretty nice. My library exploded and I've got lots of stuff to work on. The flexibility of everyone to help us stay on our game has been nice to watch.
5) I have a lot of time to work on my Sambo/Judo throws now on my Throwing Dummy. I've been grinding out an hour a day on my throws now. This keeps up, I'm going to make my Judo Black belt in record time.
So, anything that turned out to not be that bad for you guys?
Chris

If you're a buy and hold investor in the stock market, then the current prices of some companies are a gift.

I think the only way we can survive this craziness is together. Connect with the people around you, say hello to your neighbors, help out those in need around you and value the time you have now available to spend with loved ones and friends.
Please let us not panic and take more than nessesery if we share we'll get through together.
A lot of positive might come from this, people who are trapped in the system might open their eyes and see the world for the first time a bit more truly.
May you and your loved ones be safe and blessed.
