Anyone have any experience with gymnastics style folding mats as a training surface? The price, maneuverability, and cushioning make it an attractive option for home use, but I’m just wondering if there are drawbacks that I’m not recognizing.

I saw one supplier on Amazon that sells a 10’ x 4’ folding mat for $90. They have velcro connectors that allow you to increase your surface area with additional units. I can’t think of many others ways to come away with a 2” thick 10’ x 16’ training area for just $360. It almost seems too good to be true.

I'd just invest in the flexi roll mats. Well worth it in my opinion. Had fold up mats and puzzle mats before but the flexi rolls are the best.

I have some 4 panel folding mats that fell off the back of a truck... but most people don't like me and I don't like people in my house so...

I've never had any issues with rolling on them. As long as you join them as close together as possible. :)
