It's preliminary, but according to the news, Nordrhein Westfalen will start opening Back Up starting next week. By the end of the month, sports with "unavoidable body contact" will be allowed to start up again.

Yeah...about time to get back on the mat. Till 30th of may we will do Fitness circuit and dummy training.
Then hopefully regular bjj training again....depends all on the infection rate.

Far as I know, this is specifically for us in NRW. Heidelberg ist planning their reopening until mid June as far as I know. Also, and I keep saying this to all my BJJ friends, the sonner this is over, the sonner we can train again. Obay the rules, wear your masks, keep your distance, wash your gear, shower after training and let's do everything we can to keep the infection low. If there is a spike when this start reopening, they're going to close things off again. Let's try to protect our little miracle.

I suspect it's going to take a lot longer than that here in the UK. Will have to wait and see. But, that gives me hope we should be ok for Heidelcamp in late July (assuming Germany lets people travel in from the UK without quarantining them at the airport). :)

Looks like the end of October is going to be more realistic in the UK. Will have to see what the PM says tomorrow but apparently October is being muted.
