So, during this aspect of quarantine I'd been somewhat lax in terms of viewing instructional material as I think it will be a long while before I'll be back to training. Last night on a whim I decided to check out the Digitsu "Ashi Garami Seminar" by Eddie Cummings that I purchased last November during their big sales event.

I have watched about 30% of it so far and I really appreciate Prof. Cummings' teaching style. He doesn't have the tendency to go into long, drawn-out explanations and sticks to concepts and principles that have a lot of carryover. Looking forward to working through it some more tonight and making some additional notes. Also, for those who are taking a second look at their finances amid the pandemic... the price point is ver nice @ $24.99.

Charles Harriot's Leglocks 101 was excellent
Provides a great grounding in understanding leg lock positions
I found it a useful resource when considering how to teach straight leglocks to my team

I really enjoyed this seminar format instructional. Hope he makes another one for entries with a similar approach, i.e. defend the entry and counter the defense.

Since I'm stepping up to NAGA intermediate (that allows heel hooks), I've been working through the grapplearts "modern leg lock Formula" by Rob Biernacki. I certainly recommend it and he speaks very highly of Eddie Cummings so probably a lot of cross over.
