Okay here's a confusing connotation to the word "sucks" because it can be:
a) "Your crossface sucks." = "Your crossface technique is shit."
b) "Your crossface sucks." = "It sucks to be on the receiving end of your crossface."
But if they can clearly say anything, it definitely is option a)
