Looks like IBJJF has built a new website and is using a new system for their black belt database. This means that unfortunately we can no longer look up if black belts are IBJJF certified and display the badge on the profiles. I recommend you upload a photo of your certificate in your gallery instead :)

Thats a shame this was a cool feature.

The new IBJJF website looks better though for sure

I'm not sure how recently it was changed back but you can now search for people by name on the IBJJF website again.

Sucks for me cause even though I'm a 3rd deg they have me as a 1st due to lapses in dues payments over the years.
They should do the same with JJGF too. At least I'm a 3rd with them.

This is madness, surely if you've verified your information then your degrees should stand. This just goes to show they are only interested in making money. Out of curiosity, if you pay your missed dues do you know if they would bump you back up to 3rd degree?

They won't let me pay the years I missed or the degrees either. Even Royler can't do anything about it and he is one of their Hall of Fame members.
Funny thing is they know I'm a 3rd verified by Royler on the form I submitted. We all tried. There are many others in the same situation.
They aren't very smart about it because in the end they do end up losing revenue over their position. Had a long back and forth with the famous "Timmy" over there and he is not the sharpest tool in the shed albeit the biggest tool. Lol
