I used to LOVE this cardigan. Also ended up sticking a load of badges on it, so that whole thing started early, apparently. ;)

Managing to look both dorky and kinda greasy in the late 90s with my German cousins, plus my sister and younger bro.

Feeling cute in my first year at uni, 1999-2000. Got through a looooot of hair gel in those days, all about the spikes. ;)

Me as Mileena from Mortal Kombat 2, Halloween 1994, 7th grade. Obviously I had different tastes than my siblings.

The costume was made by a family friend (who is now my stepmother); my mom didn't know exactly what her weird daughter wanted for a costume until I put it on. Originally I had intended to wear just the purple bodysuit, and when my mom saw me, she said, "You are NOT going out like that! Put on pants over that!"

I protested that Mileena in Mortal Kombat didn't wear pants. "I don't care, you are NOT going out like that!" She turned on future-stepmother: "What were you thinking, why would you make her that??"

We compromised on the spandex shorts, which Mom wanted me to wear over the costume, but I insisted it had to be under.

My costume won first place for weirdest costume at my junior high, which both stunned and pleased me.

Good times.

Happy Halloween and/or Reformation Day (Protestants) everyone!

This thread should be more popular than it is.
I agree but it just died with barely any participation.
Thought bjj made people more "humble". Sure it does LOL

Luckily for you instead of sleeping I’m out here reviving old threads. I was sent this photo while in probation academy. One of the girls thought I looked the then governor of Nebraska. I don’t see it though.

The more interesting thing about that particular picture is the "Okay" hand gesture happening next to you.

Yay, great thread to revive! :D

This is my best ever xmas present from a few years ago. I wear it pretty much every day in autumn and winter (I've since added pockets and patches, naturally). Fucking LOVE onesies.
