The articles are good, but if possible it would be nice for them to include citations to the sources (links if the sources are available online, scans if you happen to have them, newspaper dates and headlines if this is just content that you accessed on microfilm at the library). One of the really frustrating parts with reading the history of jujitsu/judo/BJJ online has been contradictory information without well-cited sources. When the primary/secondary sources are cited we can look to them and what they actually say (when they still exist) to help settle disputes about which account is more likely to be true.

I read the first couple. These are fascinating and well-written. Interesting the doubt about Kakiara's gender.
I agree that having sources listed would be nice.
