You're a sports scientist, that's awesome :)
So is my friend and coach Martin Aedma, he researched supplements in combat-sports-specific fatigue tests.

Thank you very much! This toll is very important to make planning and control the training.
Next year I have a seminar in Europe about this article.

I added HIIT training to my routine about 6 months ago and can definitely tell a difference.

I stopped doing HIIT whenI started training BJJ. :D
Kinda sameish - with enough self-awareness, your actual sport is the best HIIT you can get.

Doing HIT is complete different than what he's talking about. Sport Specific HIT training uses the S.A.I.D principles. Mimicking jiu-jitsu movements to improve your performance.

I added CrossFit to my supplemental training for Jiu Jitsu, Krav Maga and Muay Thai back in 2011 and it really has helped me on the mats.

really interesting write up. I would have loved to see some experiment with a selection of colored belts and non-competitors. Could you expand on the Fatigue Resistance measure?

What would you say the best period of time for rest between sets is going to result in more Fatigue Resistance over time?

I've been tempted to start CrossFit but since I already train six days a week and rock climb on Saturdays and Sundays, I'm worried I'd just burn out. I also lift on the days I train and even though I know I'd just trade that for CrossFit, I know the intensity would be much higher, so I'm kind of reluctant

Well, I only train Jiu Jitsu 2-3 times a week because I own a Krav Maga school. So, I try to get a good CrossFit or Kickboxing workout in.

this setting You can use for colored belts, and You can go beyond that ... You can adapt others to this time setting. this tool is excellent for evaluating the technique and number of repetitions according to the evolution of the students.

Would you say this is the establishment or the attempt at establishing benchmarks?
