The last few weeks, we've been working hard on upgrading the Beltchecker code so we are able to easily clone the site for other martial arts styles. Not for any particular reason, other than we think this site is awesome and it would be fun to see if we can replicate the success elsewhere. For now, we have launched two sites:
http://www.judochecker.com
http://www.lutalivrechecker.com
At this point, we can set up a new site in 5-10 minutes and it's highly configurable in terms of belt ranking system, design etc. We will even be able to do community sites where the voting aspect is completely deactivated.
If you randomly have any ideas for other styles that could benefit from a platform like Beltchecker, we're happy to listen to suggestions. I have a feeling that it will work best for small to medium size niche communities.
