Did I miss somewhere that if you update your profile pic you lose verification? or what’s the process to fix this? Thanks

I read about re-verification after bet updates. Shouldn’t have to verify after profile pic changes. I’m sure there’ll be an update coming.

It looks like you only have to confirm your profile picture again which probably means taking a photo with the user number again and then your belt verification should be the same. I'm assuming, otherwise this could be quite frustrating.

I just changed mine, I'm assuming it just takes a bit until the moderator can verify. Is that correct?

It takes some time yes, but your current won't be accepted, not a portrait, does not clearly show face and you are not alone in it :)

verification was rejected. Please make sure you're holding up the correct sign and your face is clearly visible. Also note that your profile photo must show your face clearly and your face only. If there are other people in your profile picture, your verification will be rejected.

Thanks! I assumed once I was verified it didn't matter.

I deleted photo with the user number and system wanted re-verification. I reported that to Christian and he told me this:
"No that is not a bug. Otherwise people could verify their photo, then delete/change it and have a verified anonymous profile."

The purpose of the verification is to ensure that every profile picture actually depicts the person who claims to be behind it. If we want to build a site for anonymous profiles, then verification would be useless.
So if you verify a photo (aka. we approve that it is you in it), of course you can not change this to another face or an anonymous picture and still keep your verification. Otherwise after verification, you could upload a picture of Marcelo Garcia instead and start raking in the verification votes from every fanboy out there. Jiu Jitsu identity theft! :D

There's even a warning about this when you try to change your profile picture, but of course, it kind of requires that you actually read it before you just press OK :D

As long as you didn't delete the old verification photo (the one holding up the note), then it will just automatically be put in que for the moderators to be reverified against your new profile picture. So you don't really have to do anything other than wait a bit :)
