Any opinions on knee sleeves or elbow sleeves? I hit the big 50, and have a little arthritis. Looking for some support.

Great Question.

As an older grappler and guy who had a partial MCL tear to full tear to surgery repair, I can attest McDavid's were very good and not too expensive, but if you want best of the best Braurfund on Amazon were the best!

I use cheap neoprene knee sleeves. Seem to
help but my knees are still wrecked.

Been thinking about trying one of the bad boys out. Those neoprene ones always manage to slide off.

These are the best knee pads I have ever used, and there have been many. Expensive but well worth it.

Agreed. Snug, never move, and held me together. Now my knees are good, so I have the 2 sleeves in my bag, but hopefully don't need them for a while. :)

they got 2 quality types i think whichever one is the more expensive one is worth paying the extra 10 bucks, works great and has great mobility

Similar to the above link. These are expensive, but we're by far the best for me

I've used these before - https://www.amazon.com/dp[...]JPC2S80AES
They offered pretty good support, but they did tend to slide during hard rolls.

I've heard good things about Bauerfeind.

Yeah, Kurt Osiander always talked about them, and when my knee popped all the time from the MCL tear they protected me and more then likely kept me on the mats longer before surgery.

I’m a fan of the shock doctor knee braces and sleeves. They are decent quality and fit snug if you size it right. I tore my ACL in one knee and have some damage in the other. They have protected my old knees and allowed me to keep training.

I have a knock off pair off the Bauerfeind, so keep that in mind. They aren't bad, but do tend to slide down a bit - but most knee sleeves do that on me.
I have two pairs of Stoic powerlifting sleeves that I prefer. Really thick neoprene, with a tighter fit. They do a fantastic job of making my knees feel more secure, yet still allow decent flexion.
They also make some good elbow sleeves as well.

I only use Rehband sleeves. (Knee always because of lost ligaments/elbow when needed.)
More premium price too, but worth it. I basically wear them every session so price per minute ain't that bad after a few years. My 5 year old knee sleeve is still perfectly usable, despite the graphics fading away ages ago.

The wrapptor 2.0 are the absolute best that I've used. They are for wrestlers so they withstand mat use very well. The padding is like kneeling on clouds and they are tight enough that they give lateral support (acting like a knee brace). I can't recommend these enough
