Don't worry about asking for verification. Once you finish your profile and your identity is verified people will start to vote on your profile.
You already have my vote as I am familiar with your promotion and of course I know Moshe.

I think it is fine to ask, also fine for the person you're asking to say no. Same as with sparring: everybody is welcome to ask anybody, turning them down also completely fine. In both cases, I generally only say yes if I know you already. :)

Just a question here...
If it's based on familiarity, why is it required to provide documentation?

Christian runs the site so he is best placed to answer, but documentation makes sense to me. First verify the person does actually exist and is who they say they are, then you've got the familiarity angle to confirm the rest.

Of course documentation is great, that's why I've uploaded everything.
That is my point. Since we hardly know people in this platform, the documentation is the best way to verify once belt.
So people "should" (if they want) approve other members by documentation rather than
Looking for who they know.
That's a good way to meet new members too :)
