Carslon Gracie Amsterdam is probably smaller than the average US garage.
Yet we win often.

Cool! What is the less-than-a-garage mat space in sq ft, out of interest? :)

Beats me. We don't do that foot / mile silliness

Ha, fair enough. In sq metres then? Mainly curious as I know the biggest team in my city also used to train in a very small space, for over 10 years I think. In the last year or two, they've moved to a megagym. IIRC, Fabio Santos' gym in San Diego is pretty small too (fun place to train, I think when I visited the number of black belts outnumbered everybody else).

If we add a mat space square meter field on everyone's profiles here, then we can make a high score on academy with most gold medals per square meter of mat space :D

My bjj guess would be:
Just enough space for 5 rolls (10 people sparring)
