Just curious as they are on sale today and seem really cheap.

I like the globetrotter travel gi's but they arn't on sale right now lol

Never had their gi, but I do have their no gi shorts and rash guards. Those are cheap and cheaply made, but they haven’t fallen apart after a few years. So, to my mind, they were worth it.

Either the knees or the collar gets ripped eventually in all the lightweights fairly quick. And by fairly quick I'd say in around 6 months of constant use which isn't too bad really.

I can't stand wearing the normal Gi's just too heavy.

If you train a few times a week, should last a while. At least a year which isn’t bad. Several guys at my academy have them.

Budget, Amazon Gi. Nothing really wrong with it just not super high quality. I like Pro Force Gi's for an inexpensive gi that lasts forever.

There are definitely better gis out there then sanabul and elite. But if you are in the ball park for cheap gi, I suggest just buying an elite gi (which are even cheaper than sanabul)

I know they have been shady in past with their sponsorship and stuff. but hey cheap Gi is cheap Gi. Elite Gi are pre-shrunk and pretty durable. I train like 4-6 times a week (I have like 3 of them in rotation).

I have a couple of these GIs. The first one I got 4 years ago is still solid (3-4x a week training). The second one I got is maybe 3 years old and it's still doing fairly good though I thing the knees are getting a little worn!

I wash and dry mine with no shrink to the material.
