Anyone have an IBJJF membership and completed a provisional period? My provisional status expires later this month and was wondering if they notify you when you’ve completed your 2 year provisional period? Also, do they send you a new membership card?

They're fairly responsive on email in my experience.
I completed a provisional membership as a brown belt, right when the pandemic started. They never notified me, and my membership "lapsed". But it wasn't an issue when I applied for non-provisional black belt.

I reregistered when I got black. I didn't even finish the provisional period.
I don’t want to register my black belt until I complete my provisional period because I switched academies and affiliations. My provisional period would reset for another 2 years since I’m no longer under the same black belt that signed my initial membership. I only have 2 more weeks to go and my membership doesn’t expire until September.

First I registered with the IBJJF was as a Black so I had the 2 year provisional period. When I renewed after 2 years I wrote and reminded them and there was no real issue
