Just added a bit of functionality today
- Now possible to use nick/alternative names on profiles, in case you don't go by your legal name (This is not for fighter names lol). Legal name must still be provided and match 100% for ID check. Display of nickname over legal name is not yet site-wide, but will slowly get this done.
- Now possible to rotate images that upload in the wrong direction (some phones will do this)
Also fixed a few small bugs.

I think there should definitely also be an option to add a "fighter name"!

I just changed my profile picture to funnier. (I got bored with my jiu jitsu face). But now my profile is pending. Is this something that will happen every time if you change your profile image or something else.

Yes you get a warning about this when you try to change your profile picture. You must have pressed ok without reading it ;)
Also see same question in the faq
