Hi
My account went from verified to unverified, suspect it was because I was not the only person in my profile pic. I rectified it and got my account re-verified but I seem to have lost a 100 point vote in the process. Is this normal?

Normal. I think it is discussed in the FAQ & also on the forum previously.
If you change the profile photo or any of your promotion history, you lose all the verifications but the people who have verified you will get a notification to re-verify. (So probably you'll also get that black belt vote back when the person checks the site again and notices the notification.)

No this is not the case; votes are not up for re-verification for change of profile picture, only for change of promotion history.
There's probably someone who had voted for you who lost their verification status temporarily. Could be change of profile or someone who voted for them lost it and it's trickling down :)

Oh, true. You lose the ID verification with the profile photo change. (I shall try that next! :D)

Yeah. Just can take a moment for the moderators to check that it’s the same person in the new photo. Meanwhile you’ll temporarily lose the ID verification, but the votes will be back after the new photo is approved.
