Hi guys,
Just a short post to says that beltchecker is a pretty good things for jiujitsu, by the fact that we can verified belt rank and stop some fraud...but also because it's a fantastic way to meet People from all over the world... last week we had the pleasure to be visited buy Gerald who comes from Tokyo, it would never be possible to meet him on standard network.
It make me happy also because a lot of the forums, are more about mma and the fan base are pretty often more active than the real praticioners. So it makes me really happy to exchange about our arte suave everyday.
That's not an important post but it's my feeling, i'm happier since i discorver this so thank you all of you and specially the people who made this site.
I post the picture with Gerald, i hope we can make the next one in Tokyo ;-)
Everyone's welcome to train with us

Hi Anthony,
Mons is not so far, we can fixe something to train together. Send me private message, it will be easier.
I have checked your profile, pretty cool ! You get my vote.

I’ll jump on the Beltchecker love train. I also initially saw it as a better alternative to ibjjf nonsense. I haven’t yet connected with any Beltchecker people in real life; anyone in Orange County, California feel free to drop by.
But I really appreciate the forums. So much more substantive and pleasant than Reddit. My only gripe is the relative sparsity of posts relative to Reddit. But I guess that’s what happens when you weed out all the trolls.

Hi Benoit!
I hadn't logged into the sites for months, and only seeing this now, a belated thanks for the great hospitality!
I still use that neat casual hand-to-monitor-the-leg you showed me from Kimura control ^^
Japan is still closed to tourism, it went from 2 to 3 million visitors a month pre-pandemic to a low of 16 thousand early this year. 99% drop.
I was so stressed on my way back, as I heard horror stories of people being refused entry at Narita for not having the correct paperwork.
And now direct flights that used to be 12h take 16h+ because of Russia too.
Hopefully next time I can bring my son too,
best wishes and looking forward to training together again
