How to become a better coach / instructor.
It would be nice to have a place to go to and pick the brains a people who are on the similar journey.. who wants to get better of helping others.. we have a giant community would like to find mentors that have strength in areas that I struggle in.
This can help people who have weakness in the same fields
Here's a few examples
How to run and structure your seminar
How to set up your prices and services
How to structure your curriculum..
And if you have any more suggestions to books or podcast or your own questions(how to )

I coach in the PT industry and in rehabilitation of injuries. One thing I learned on pricing, if people aren't taking a moment to think about how much you charge you don't charge enough. As higher paying clients have a better adhereance than lower paying in my experience. But I suppose the other thing you will need to consider is accessibility for all.

That is great information.. I was told by old school instructor if you price yourself too low it's too hard to come back up. Thank you for the feedback ☺️

If you ever up your prices. Which will happen due to increase of skills and experience. Then give your current clients a grandfather clause to stay on their current rate and any new clients go onto your new rate. Then when you loose the old clients their contract ends on the old rate. So if they sign up again they uave to go onto your new rate. That's what I did when I increased my online rehab and coaching prices. People pay you for your experience and expertise not your minutes and your prices should reflect that. Also its super awkward to talk payments with clients I find

Pricing have always been tricky.. especially with the industry have such a yo-yo pricing.
I was listening to BJJ mental models podcast
Ep. 171: Financial Jiu-Jitsu, feat. Meg he to share some key business concepts for grapplers looking to make a living in the gentle art. If you get a chance check it out a good listen..

Together with a group of instructors, we built this website last year: https://www.teachingbjj.com/ It's free and has a TON of material to help you become a better coach. Enjoy!
I’ll be looking in to this. Thanks to everyone that put it together.

That is awesome! I won't be asked to teach a class anytime soon, but I will definitely be looking over the site to come to a better understanding of things in my own training for sure.

I know Rob Biernacki has a pedagogy section of his own online academy (bjjconcepts.net) aimed at teaching people how to better teach.

One thing that you should do (you probably already have since you posted the interview with Meg He) is create a Calendly account to schedule private lessons. Very simple system and works great.
