What happens to votes when the voter is promoted

Just in theory. As a blue belt my vote is 5 p. but if I get promoted it's 20 p.
Do the members I voted before my promotion get 5 or 20 or 0? Zero as I will not be a verified member, because promotion needs to be voted for.
Most likely earlier votes stay and I can revote earlier voted mombers after my promotion is verified?

Your current votes as blue belt are worth 5 points. When you get promoted to purple, you temporarily lose your verification since all your received votes are up for reconfirmation. During this period, all your given votes are not counting. The moment people have verified your new rank, all your old votes will be reactivated and then worth 20 points.

I too was curious how this was going to work. Thank you for clarifying - and that makes good logical sense to me to do it that way!
