Your opponent's right hand.
I feel a lot of people might say it's someone's head or hips but I strongly feel it's their right hand at least in the Gi.

Whatever their primary hand is.
Noticed the same thing for defending takedowns. If I circle right and keep distance between me and their right hand they have a much more difficult time doing anything and the distance gives me time to easily counter whatever they try to do when closing the distance.
