So, I've been noticing a lot on their IG videos. Their gi's, even their training partners, look super wet. Just like they jumped into a pool with their gi's and started training. Anyone know why that is? I'm very curious.

I know they live in New York and it's humid there. I'm from New York and it's not nearly as humid as some countries I've been too. I've trained in some pretty humid places around the world. Caribbean, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the Philippines. I've never sweat so profusely to a point where my gi was completely soaked. And I live in AZ. Super hot here as well. None of my guys have sweat that bad.

I saw a clip where they poured water on the guys during training. That explains some of it. I bet they do actually train in a very humid facility too.

They are likely taking a shower in their gi. There's a video at the old Unity gym in NYC (https://www.youtube.com/w[...]lagv41bJoQ) where they would shower between each round. The Miyao's used to train there, so presumably they are carrying on with the practice at their current gym (In Jersey I believe). Having trained at the new Unity gym, they definitely no longer do that, although given how hot it gets in there, I can sort of understand it. When I first trained there I felt close to getting a heat stroke by the end of the class. It took me a few sessions, a very large water bottle and lots of electrolytes to adjust. The old gym is known for being even hotter, so whilst it seems crazy, that's probably where they are coming from.

that's called hard work....you should try one's...

don't shoot.... it was a joke, i was thinking the same about it, i guess it is because their mum leave them at the dojo with the gi on and then some bully put them in the shower....otherwise it's pretty hard to explain it....
