Interesting numbers about BJJ

I found this in the statistics. My first thought was, wow that’s unusual numbers for martial arts.
But the fact behind the numbers are of course different for BJJ in general. Those numbers represent the people on this platform.
But my impression is that BJJ got more adults than other martial arts. Especially at beginning level.
What do you think?

I think there is something to this, at least in terms of competitive martial sports. Wrestling classes for adults are practically nonexistent. Judo classes for adults do exist, but these are generally more geared towards people who started judo when they were young and have been black belts for quite some time (at least this was my experience here in Germany). Entry level classes for adults are hard to find.
In contrast, BJJ generally understands that you can't treat a group of 30 year olds the same way you would a group of kids.
