That’s pretty good in such a short time! Total 268 verified profiles from the US. It feel like only a few days ago where people where complaining about how Europe-centric this site is :D (because it was only a few days ago) https://beltchecker.com/s[...]p;status=2
It would seem that verification works better for those who attended a camp than for those who are just members of BJJ Globetrotters ;-)

So what you’re saying is that if more people in jiu jitsu know you, more people will vote for you... hmmm, interesting.... :D

You read wrong or I misspoke, my English is not perfect ;-)
Look at the statistics by country and you will see that the countries where there are the most participants in the BJJ camps have the most verifications. I'm not talking about myself. I participate in your projects because they are interesting and have allowed me to live great experiences and make friends without participating in the camps that you organize. That's why I created my profile and that I watch from time to time how it evolves and some comments.

Well... I am Finnish and a camp regular. We have also 1 other Finnish camp regular here, but he hasn’t been very active on the platform. That’s pretty much it for Finland, BJJ Globetrotters & Beltchchecker as of now. We are both purple belts, so we can give out +20p each.

However: somehow Finland has 89% verification rate for completed profiles, and already 15 verified black belts.

How did this happen...

How do you know what countries the BJJ Globetrotters camp participants come from? :)

(Because I believe I am the only one in the world with that data)

I follow your Facebook page, I have some friends who came to camps, one of my professor teached in a camp in Belgium in 2019 if I remember and with those datas, I cross it and make a supposition ;-) Don't worry, I didn't hack your database ;-)

Thanks for the proposal, it's nice but don't worry, It's not about me ;-)

I'm just curious how it could work if your friends aren't member ? And if they are member but not verified ?

It works because connections to BJJ Globetrotters is already irrelevant for getting verified at this stage of the platform.

Another example is recently a lot of BBs from UAE getting quickly their ranks verified. (I don't have Christian's camp participant data, but I don't remember meeting anybody from the Emirates there.)

But I agree that having personal connections to some people verified at the site definitely makes the start way easier. It's just not related to BJJ Globetrotters camps.

I might be one of the reasons of the invasion of UAE. I agitated my friends from there and it spread.
There is huge amount of good black belts involved in project. I used to work there for a while.

I know. :)
Good to have ’em here; these are some super legit people.

But: nothing to do with the BJJ Globetrotters camps...
