We had this guy on beltchecker, right? This same guy, who wanted to get his black belt, so he quit BJJ to start some bullshit martial art (great logic).

Well, apparently he got what he wanted. He promoted his wives (both of them) to black belt, and they in turn promoted him. What???

Here is the McDojo breakdown:

That dude is a whack job. At least, we have video and photos of him and his sister wives. All we can do is avoid them and their “school”. Hopefully, they won’t dupe too many people as they fade away.

Was it someone who tried to get verified here?
Yeah, I remember this guy. I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to find his original thread where he was complaining about not getting promoted, but I couldn't find it. And he must have deleted his profile because I couldn't find that either.

The man is a genius. Except two wives sounds like a lot of extra chores around the house.

I just watched a video featuring a polygamist, flat-earther, neo-cult leader and my first reaction was to be appalled that he changed his own belt colors in a hobbyist sport. I think I need to prioritize my outrage, and this dude needs some serious time with a good therapist.

Thanks for the video link OP. That was a fun watch.

He deleted his profile during the fall out of his final post. I really hope he comes back…

Also, I have to admit, I like his belt system he “created.” I have around 50 graduate credits so I’m due for a promotion.

Those titles are great, how cool would it be if people had to address me as "Respect Christian" :D

But to be fair, let's not forget that the belt system that we all agree is real, was basically invented in the exact same way as what this guy is doing. Some cousins in Brazil thought they were pretty tough and didn't want to be part of the established ranking system, so they all promoted themselves to black belts and made up a belt system with titles, white/gold/silver stripes and everything.

It's basically the exact same, it's just that more time has passed since the BJJ ranks were invented out of thin air.

sooooo... what technically constitutes a credit tho LMAO....
That's what I was thinking. Knowing this whack-job's analogy he probably created semester "courses" - "Hi, Everybody, Welcome to Turtle 201 - I am your Teacher John" :D

room and board
per credit class/semester

i wonder if it offers financial aid LMAO

IM trying to be a Master Priest Or Dean now!!! that is some Mortal Kombat-level power !!!

I agree, but I think the main problem is that he is creating something totally based on something that already exists and just calling another name because he doesn't agree that his coach at the time didn't want to award him his black belt.

The focus on BJJ back in the days was always more focused on ground work and self defense. Different from JUDO and JuJitsu that they were learning. But my opinion is that he is still just a crazy guy that will attract crazy people to his surroundings.

Like actual college credits, from an accredited university. He’s been brainstorming different ideas for a while. I’ve kept an eye on him since we started under the same person. I was tempted to make threads about him since he left but I figured it would come out eventually without my help.

Let say this... Soo dude was a legit brown belt from what we gathered. ( Couldn't wait for his black belt ) so self promoted himself.
If he be would have waited a few months or another year and got his belt legitimately, would he still have done all this ???? It's like a grown man throwing a tantrum and doing his one style.

I think he was bound to do something nutty and imagine having your name attached to him if he did get a legitimate promotion.
