I've been often asked why i do this and why Im always repping my coach( Jeff Mitchell), my team RMNU or my father when its not Jiujitsu related...

well

I try my best to represent my Team, my organization and my family to the utmost level of respect. Sometimes we have days we fall short but its the family that we build throughout this journey that helps up keep those standards.. Don't ever let the integrity of the belt jeopardize the level of humility.

I stand for heal hooks.
That works sometimes.

Unless they have Scholastic Wrestling, Folkstyle Wrestling, or Freestyle wrestling backgrounds,

a lot of Jiu-Jitsu players stand up far less often then they should,

to scramble out of inferior positions.

i try to inspire people, i stand for kindness and respect but also for spirit and dedication.
belts mean nothing, jiu jitsu is science but more than that it is art.
learn technique, then forget it all again and feel, concepts are everything.
also i always keep proving stereotypes wrong be it in bjj or in life... thats my nindo

-probably the coolest thing i ever said.

Since I've started this sport/art/journey... what ever you call it, I've tried to do everything to improve myself, and after I started to understand things a bit more, to improve the state of grappling in my area. It would be really awesome to be able to give to others as much as jiu-jitsu has given me. To spread the joy. I've been able to do so through some tough choices, but always with the growth of the sport in mind.

I guess that's what I stand for. Doing things the right way, even if it's the hard way.
