List promoter for belt or recent stripe?

Just wondering if people list who gave them their recent belt or who gave them their recent stripe. This would probably be more relevant to color belts in the “Promoted By” section since you might get the belt from one guy but later stripes from another.
Thoughts?

Stripes on which belt?

Could technically do that now if you added a new belt for each stripe. I see some black belts have done that. Downside is you'd have to be reverified for each stripe.

I haven't listed any of my stripes, but as it is the date of the belt itself that matters when it comes to times at each belt and the belt is more important than the stripes, I would really recommend listing the instructor who gave you the coloured belt and not the most recent stripes.
Even if adding the stripes as separate belts, it just adds to the time it takes to verify your credentials and will make your promotion list very long by the time you reach BB.
I still like to use stripes for my students and appreciated getting them too.

“Promoter” field is for who promoted you to the belt. If you want to add any additional information, such as about the stripes, do that in the comments field.
