Fat guy training/video recommendations

Hello,
I'm looking for some additional study material (videos) that might be geared towards the less athletic, older, heavier guys.
I guess I'm looking for old school with minimal steps, no inverting, no jumping, no upside down squashed monkey lapel guards.
Basically I'm old, fat and uncoordinated (too many years of not taking care of myself and now I'm paying the price), but I'm also stubborn and refuse to give up, so I continue to search for something that I can latch onto and use to build my style.
My coaches are great guys and they try to adapt things for me, but I don't think any of them really comprehend who, what, where, why and how I'm having a physical hard time doing some of the techniques, so for them to adapt them to me is a struggle, but I commend their efforts and they haven't given up on me. As long as they don't give up on me, I won't give up on me. Nobody has said dude this may not be your gig.
Thanks for any training suggestions.

I would study Judo, and amateur Wrestling.
And Catch Wrestling.
A fat man's job from the guard is to get out of the guard.
Bone up on turtle defense and turtle offense.
Use your weight, and learn how to turn pins into submissions, drawing heavily from Wrestling.

Check out Catch as Catch Can wrestling aka Catch wrestling.
Also I like some of the stuff in youtube by Neil Melanson and Chewy as well.
I am a bigger top game type player and learned stuff from these places. My coach trains us all in Catch and BJJ. He calls it hybrid grappling.
I am 36 and step in at about 6'4" and 320lbs. I beat my body up playing sports, but I can still act athletic at times for small bursts.

Top game: Look up Fábio Gurgel's pressure pass.
Bottom game: Derrick Lewis' Just-Stand-Up technique is the obvious choice.

Might not be helpful but there is one fat 10p guy in Finland I like to watch, he is huge even for an Ultra Heavy, but plays rubber guard, inversions etc. :)

Look into Matt Thornton's Mount and Guard series on SBG University.
Check out Joe Moreira's "Old School Smash Pass" dvd
Look into Henry Akins' Turtle and Scarf Hold series.
Check out Bernardo Faria's Half-Guard stuff.
You're going to need to learn the pressure game - not the movement game.
Heavy (pressure-based) guard passes and emphasis on finishing from top control. When playing guard, get sweeps when you can, but look at an opponent passing your guard as an OPPORTUNITY to get back to your knees/turtle. Timing is more important than speed. ;-)

For big dudes competing/sparring with other big dudes, I'd suggest getting decent at deep half guard. Just pulling oneself into position, and the simple sweeps of rotating to either direction, coming on top. Doesn't require much flexibility or complicated movement, and you can even be a bit slow. Seen it work wonders. (Not that good against smaller guys perhaps though.)

I've seen the opposite - old-guy deep half (not Glover's stuff that requires flexibility but more basic e.g. Faria stuff) works great against smaller guys but you sometimes get stuck against bigger guys. I think you actually see that a lot in masters div's - 1 guy pulls half/deep half and then loses with passing points or a few advantages.

Like everything, I guess it depends how well you play it, and also whether at the elite level or lower. :D
It's my go-to guard against fat people with fairly good success, and been following a few big competitors who pull it off all the time.

I am both small AND fat.
The most lethal combo for sure! :D

No before that I will use my blackbelt privilege of starting to teach just milliseconds before you are about to hit a technique on me.
