Name verification by credit card. How long for verification?

Quick question:
I chose the "Name verification by credit card" option. Should the verification be automatic / instantaneous? Or does someone need to check the transaction and manually mark it as verified?
Not in a hurry at all. If it takes days, then it takes days :-D Just unsure of how long to expect it to take.

Worked instantly for me as the payment cleared

It’s instant, but it only works if the name used for the (successful) credit card payment is exactly the same as the one on your profile. If it didn’t verify you immediately then try to make the payment again and make sure names are exactly identical.
