I would like to make it clear that Jay Pages Facebook downvoter gang doesn’t have any affiliation with The Fearless Gang of Beltchecker Disputers. I can not rule out a gang war at some point, but we will have to take that as it comes.

I will give a different point of view.

Not that anyone should care.

When I have an issue with someone's claimed rank,

first I will reach out to the black belts that voted for them to see if I am in error.

Then, to that person's claimed instructor,

and then to them.

Only if a failure occurs at each of those levels,

will I make a dispute vote.

There can not simultaneously be a directive to "be nice" and a circus show approach.

One or the other, I am veeeeerrrrrrry comfortable with either, but you can't have both.
