The gi game to me is fun because you have to use more precise gripping strategies and you need to rely more on technique sequences rather than speed and slipping out of/through the opponents attempts to trap you….
The nogi game is fun because of the speed and the general slipperiness and the fact that gripping is important to make your sequences work…. Hmmmm 🧐

Well two different games but good to know both for sure because alot stuff from no gi transfers back to gi, like cupping, meat hooks, and gable grips so can enhance gi game. With gi yes i love the traditional gi and all diffrent gi grips and then started gi wraps, plus always have belt grips as well so alot more chokes and sweeps can be made with the gi do to gripping. Also alot more sneaky chokes can happen with gi and in alot more positions because accessibility of the gi grips.
