For those of you that compete on a regular basis (or just have fading memories 😜), you can get military dog tags custom stamped with the details of the event (date, location, weight class, division, belt level… etc.) and attach it directly to the medal.

I have just started doing this as I'm starting to get a collection of medals from various events not just BJJ and realized that I want something to retain the details of these events that was more than a piece of tape on the back of the medal.

I only just now realized that you can get them in copper and brass as well to match the medal.
