Hey guys I would like to buy a outdoor mat for the garden when the weather is nice to roll outside and I’m looking for some recommendations about brand and size ( I have something in mind about 4x4 meters, but I’m not sure) it would be nice to get some ideas or maybe some body has already experience. Thanks in advance 🤙

I have 1.3/4 inch thick tatami puzzle mats I use on my deck when the weather is nice Im the summer. All them together comes out to roughly 10X10. Easy to clean and stack up when done. Works pretty well not the best when it comes to throws and wrestling but drilling and light rolling it’s great.

I have some larger foldable mats (folds in half in the middle, each square is large enough for two people to roll) that we will take outside on occasion.
I've also done light rounds on tarp over sand on the beach and tarp on shaggy grass. Obviously your mileage will vary on that.
You planning on keeping it outside 24/7 or bringing it in and out as weather allows?

I've used my roll out mats before (Zebra Home Training Mat, not sure if those are still sold), like when a shopping centre somewhat randomly invited me to run some free demos outside the shops. Worked ok, though you'd need more than just one to have a proper roll and then tape them together.
I've also rolled in the park a few times (in the US and UK), where they used jigsaw mats. As long as the ground is fairly flat and the weather is ok, nice way to spend a sunny day.

What size and thickness do you use? I've just been looking at some.

Once upon a time I used to have a lot of zebra puzzle mats (the thick ones) for outdoor rolling. They worked okay for an occasional outdoor fun roll. But at the end of the day all puzzle mats suck 😂
