Profile picture uploaded multiple times, via multiple different laptops and phones, and still shows black. I have screenshotted and sent an email. Still no verification, and unable to proceed with anything on my profile.

It seems like there was an issue with the image cropper for the profile picture upload. I have disabled it. Can you please try to upload a profile picture again?
