@Brendan Yes, a promotion with a location shows up on your world map. The location field now also understands academy names: if the academy is on the club map, the pin lands there. Your white belt at Gabriel Gladiator Training Center shows up now. The Jiu Jitsu Project isn't on the club map yet, so for that one just add the city instead. 🙂

I couldn't find my old academy i got promoted up to brown in or the academy where I used to coach wrestling in your search area. Maybe it just needs more tags.

Don't know of its a bug or jot, but just discovered the map woth the places where one trains, competes, etc; and realised that the two seminars I assisted (at my home gym) don't appear in my home gym: they appear somewhere in Switzerland called Claro and, furthermore, rather than both seminars appearing, only one appears in the map.

I'm really enjoying the new map that tracks places trained. Perhaps add a way to enter the state for gyms in the USA? I'm trying to enter schools and they keep appearing in other states. Also, if you enter a school name that's shared by another academy in a different location, it wont let you deselect the one already the system and enter the new one. A lot of cool new features, thank you for all the hard work!

Some ability to mark students and members as "inactive" or vice versa "current" to display first in relevant lists, attendance marking etc.

Just go to that academy's page and click on the "I've trained here" button to remove it

Strange tiny bug not only on this profile - if person messes with their promotion dates, it can show "today" as time at belt even when it's not correct.

It seems like the possibility to register attendance a day or more after the sessions was lost somewhere along the way of optimising the academy section. When I try to change the date back, it tells me that this site does not exist.

I personally think it is a fundamental oversight to have the statistics by belt on front page also include pending and unverified belts. Currently it shows a lot of redbelt profiles from which only a handful are verified and it even includes clear spam accounts. (picture provided).
Theoretically one could create 100s of pending redbelt profiles to mess with the stats :D
Also is there a way for admins to manually delete clearly fake / malicious profiles such as here in example?

I know it might be asking too much, but how about a way to sort through the "need votes" so we can arrange or filter them? Like, some of the people needing votes are not active on the site, so I would sort it so those are just before all the negative members. I also like to look to see who is close to getting verified and see if I can verify that profile.

Can you provide som more details please, what do you mean by loading your training? Are you trying to register a new training session? What exactly happens with the date field?

I'm sorry, the time zone settings had disappeared in the attendance settings page. I have moved the to the general settings for Page and Membership management. You should be able to find them there now 🙂

This is growing on me. And holy crap academy management seems like a great tool! I wish more of our students registered. Tracking their progress and promotion history here would be so nice.
