My Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey began in 2006 while training with Plus One Defense Systems under Marco DeLima. During my first four years, my training was on and off as I started and raised my family of four children. Although life sometimes pulled me away from the mats, I never lost my passion for Jiu-Jitsu.

In 2011, I made the decision to return to training with a renewed dedication and commitment. I earned my blue belt under Gabriel “Gladiator” Santos, marking an important step in my journey.

As time went on, there were changes in my Jiu-Jitsu training, and I eventually returned to training under Marco DeLima. I continued to train, develop, and advance through the ranks, learning from every instructor, training partner, and experience along the way.

In 2020, I began continuing my Jiu-Jitsu journey independently. I remained committed to my training and continued developing my skills, knowledge, and understanding of the art.

On April 21, 2023, after years of dedication, setbacks, growth, and countless hours on the mats, I was honored to receive my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Markus Venenso. This was one of the most meaningful accomplishments of my martial arts career.

My journey did not end with the black belt. In 2025, I took another major step by founding and successfully operating my own martial arts academy, Wolf Den Martial Arts, where I now have the opportunity to share the knowledge and experience I have gained throughout my journey with the next generation of martial artists.

For me, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has always been about more than belts. It has taught me perseverance, discipline, humility, adaptability, and the importance of continuing to move forward—even when life takes you away from the mats.

The journey continues.
