​I am officially stepping onto the platform to document my journey, track my progress, and connect with martial artists around the globe. I am currently a white belt about 6 months into my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey, dedicated to putting in the mat time and learning every single day.

​I am proud to represent KAO Dojo in Ethiopia, training directly under Coach Yared Niguse—the true pioneer who first brought Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to our country. It is an honor to build our martial arts foundation under his leadership and help grow the sport in our region.

​To any and all visitors traveling to Africa or passing through Ethiopia: You have a standing invitation to visit our dojo. Regardless of your team affiliation or rank, our doors and mats are 100% open to you. Whether you are coming through for business, vacation, or exploration, we would love to host you, share technique, and offer you authentic Ethiopian hospitality.
