I have a feeling also, in 20 years, the criteria to become a black belt, in terms of time requirement, are going to become similar what judo does.

I dunno... it's been like that in Brazil for a long time. Visit any small academy in SP/Rio and there can be 20 people on the mat, 12 of which are black belts, some of them 20 years old. Still, the level is really good.
