Do you use any kind of software to manage the members of your academy? What are the main features that you use it for? What are the most and least favorite parts of it? How much do you pay for it?

I couldn't find anything that had all the things I needed so I hired a programmer to make a custom setup. I'd love to hear what others are using, too.

Since I started a club in 2014, I've just done it myself with a spreadsheet. I've got a bunch of formulae on there that tell me about payments, training time etc.

Once i get over 100 members, I'll consider third party stuff: the idea of paying somebody to do something I can do myself is irksome, but then the opportunity cost argument is valid. It has been taking longer and longer to fill in. ;)

We are using Dojoexpert
We're on dojoexpert as well
Decent cost for the features.
How do you do sign in?
Currently we use assistant instructors to do the roll as when we used cards to sign in in the past it created congestion at the front desk

How do you do sign in?
The QR sign in was one of the deciding features we went with DojoExpert. Most ppl present their QR code from phone or printed out to instructor(s) during one of the water breaks.
