I added my professors middle name an all my votes was erased. I am no longer verified as a blue belt. It was more fun when I could vote for people I knew :-P So this is a warning: Dont change the data of your grading then all your votes will be lost.

Luckily I was still a blue belt in real life :-D

I just realized this too. I noticed I didn't include the name of the professor who promoted me to brown belt (same person who promoted me to Blue to Black) and i edited the info and lost all the votes I previously had. I guess if you update the promotion history, it all needs to get re-varified.

Yep, this is completely normal and by design. There is also a warning when you make the change, asking you if you are sure, since it will require re-verification.

Don't worry, everyone who has voted for you before will receive a notification with an easy way to re-confirm their vote. You should be back up and running in no time :)

I understand why it is done. Agree with the process.
